Property and Cancellation Policies

• Cancellations made 3 days or more before the check-in date willnot incur any charges.
• Cancellations made within 3 days of arrival will incur a one-night chargeincluding taxes.
• No-shows will be charged for the full stay.
• Advance Purchase bookings are non-changeable andnon-refundable, charged at the time of booking, the full stay will be charged in case of cancellation or no-show.

Welcome to JOUD by The Sea Hotel. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your stay and use of our services.
By booking or staying with us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Prices and Taxes

All room rates are subject to applicable taxes and fees, which will be clearly disclosed at the time of booking.
Prices may vary based on season, availability, and promotional offers.
Payment must be made in the manner specified at check-in.


2. Payment and Terms at Check-in/Check-out

Full payment, including any deposit or incidental charges, is due at check-in unless prepaid. Check-out time is 12:00 Noon; late check-out may incur additional charges.
We reserve the right to charge for damages or unpaid balances.


3. Traveling with Minors

Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Parents or guardians are responsible for minors’ conduct and damages.


4. Accessibility or Special Needs

Our hotel strives to accommodate guests with accessibility needs.
Please inform us in advance about any special requirements to ensure appropriate arrangements.


5. Parking

Parking facilities are available free of charge in an open area.
Parking spaces are limited and subject to availability.
Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk.


6. Hotel Events

Events hosted at our hotel are subject to specific rules and may require prior reservations.
We reserve the right to refuse service or entry to anyone who disrupts or violates policies.


7. Dispute Resolution/Issues

In the event of disputes, guests should contact the front desk or management.
We aim to resolve issues promptly. Any unresolved disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Zanzibar, Tanzania.


8. Use of Personal Information

We collect and use personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By staying with us, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described.


9. Liability

We are not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings or for injuries sustained during your stay, except where caused by our negligence or willful misconduct.


10. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for cancellations, delays, or disruptions caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or government restrictions.


11. Third Party Rights

No third-party beneficiaries have rights under these Terms unless explicitly stated.


12. Waiver

Any failure to enforce a provision does not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision.


13. Severance

If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
